CHEF OF THE MONTH: ZIN ZIN
Each month Food Bridge will promote a different chef and special menu. Our goal is to support chefs of color to thrive by having multiple creative source of revenue even in a post-pandemic food industry. In addition to offering catering, our partnered chefs are working to offer prepared meals designed to store and freeze well.
Zin Zin is truly a special chef with intense passion for what she does. She loves to cook traditional Burmese cuisine that she learned from her mother and aunts. Being a refugee that had to flee the country at the age of 16, cooking is very sentimental for her and brings her a sense of home. Like all our chefs, she is insistent on doing everything "from scratch" and wants to offer high quality you really can't even find in a restaurant. She is currently living in Indianapolis, but is making a special trip to Denver to reconnect with her customer base from 2016. She is the original chef that inspired much of what Food Bridge does. Her ultimate goal is to move back to CO in 2022 and launch her business in full. See how you can enjoy her offerings and support her this October.
